Obituary for
Lila Rose Frazier (Mosley)
Lila Rose Mosley Frazier, passed away on September 21, 2016. Mrs. Frazier lived most of her adult life in Memphis, living the last fifteen years in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Survivors include her sons Gordon Frazier and his wife Cynthia Clarkson of Auburn California, George Frazier and his wife Donna (Feeney) of Warner Robins Georgia, John Frazier and his wife Judy (Maffett) of Baton Rouge Louisiana, and daughter Sandy Frazier of St. Louis Missouri. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dana Frazier, Katie Frazier, Michael Herrmann and Jacob Frazier, along with her sister Jessie of Roswell, New Mexico, and a cousin, Margaret Ann Rowland of Vicksburg, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over forty-five years John R. Frazier, Jr. of Memphis Tennessee, her parents G. B. and Mary Wellman Mosley, her brothers, James Mosley, Charles Mosley and Herbert Mosley, and her sister, Ester, and cousin Margaret Ann Rowland of Vicksburg, Mississippi. Mrs. Frazier was born December 27, 1929 in Jonestown Mississippi and was proud of her heritage growing up in the Mississippi Delta. She attended the Mississippi University for Women in Columbus graduating with a degree in Secretarial Sciences. Mrs. Frazier retired from the United States Postal Service in Memphis after a rewarding career as a Legal Secretary. Lila was a longtime member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Memphis and Maples Memorial United Methodist Church in Olive Branch, Mississippi. In addition, she was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Monday, September 26 until graveside service begins at 10 a.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East.
