Services: A service will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home, 2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133 on Thursday, October 20, at 2PM. After the service, the family invites family and friends to Darrel and Sharon’s home (4141 Brookhill Lane, Bartlett, TN 38135) for fellowship.

Darrel E. Troyer, of Bartlett, TN, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness.
He was born on June 13, 1948, in Millersburg, Ohio to Ohlen and Lulu Troyer. He married Sharon Troyer on September 5, 1969. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served our country in the U.S. Army. He was a database administrator and retired from Federal Express. He also taught computer classes at Southwest Community College and worked for Autozone part-time.
He is survived by a very long list of people who loved him very much. He is survived by his mother, Lulu Troyer, of Sugarcreek, OH; his wife, Sharon Troyer, of Bartlett, TN; his four daughters and son, Jennifer (John Teague) Troyer of Charlotte, NC, Laura (Chris) Klein of Bartlett, TN, Stephanie (Russ Shipman) Troyer of Jonesboro, AR, Eric (Lynn) Troyer of Akron, OH, and Sarah (Andrew Rogers) Troyer of Bartlett, TN; 8 grandchildren, Ean Troyer, Rowan Troyer, Willow Klein, Lily Troyer, Eleanor Teague, Jaela Rogers, Chase Troyer, and baby-boy-Troyer-on-the-way; two brothers, Rodney Troyer of Mansfield, OH, and Royce (Marlene) Troyer of Sugarcreek, OH; two sisters, Jody (Don) Hershberger of Sugarcreek, OH, and Suzette (Ron) Miller of Sugarcreek, OH; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ohlen Troyer, and his sister, Diane Andrews.
