Trinidad Garcia Gylfe, 87, of Bartlett, TN passed away on January 9, 2018. She was born July 28, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York to Peter and Juliette Garcia. She married Harley Gylfe in New York City in 1957. Mrs. Gylfe earned her RN from Long Island College Hospital School of Nursing. She retired from Methodist Hospitals in Memphis after 20 years of service. She was a member of St. James Anglican Church in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Harley Gylfe and her son, Edward Gylfe. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Gylfe; daughter, Karen Baggett(James); daughter-in-law, Kathy Gylfe; grandchildren: Peter Gylfe(Catherine), Allen Gylfe(Allie), Katherine Baggett, and Jonathan Baggett(Haley); step-granddaughter, Erika Frishe; and great-grandchildren, Lillian Gylfe and Killian Baggett. The family will receive friends at St. James Anglican Church on Friday, January 12, from 11:30-1:00, with funeral service to follow. Interment will be at Forest Hill, East. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be sent to St. James Anglican Church.
