The men and women who served in the armed forces, whether during a time of war, or one of peace, are living examples of that contradiction. Each should be honored and remembered, so that our gratitude never fades.

Lee Ottis Flanagan, 80, went to be with his Lord on January 2, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Pittsboro, MS on February 22, 1937. He was a 1955 graduate of Central High School in Memphis, TN. He retired from The Sherwin Williams Co. after 36 years in 1996. He worked for Werner Enterprises for 10 years prior to his illness.
