Marvin William "Butch"  Seeger
Marvin “Butch” Seeger, of Arlington, TN was born July 9, 1940 in Evergreen Park, Illinois to William Daniel and Evelyn Holmberg Seeger, who preceded him in death, and passed away on October 11, 2016 at the age of 76 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and retired from the Memphis Police Department as a Captain over the harbor Patrol after 32 1/2 years. Butch was a faithful servant of our Lord, Jesus Christ. He served Christ for many years as an Usher, Sunday School Teacher and Bus Driver for Bellevue Baptist Church. Butch is survived by his loving wife, Reba Palmer Seeger; and sister, Marsha Weaver (Patrick). He was preceded in death by a sister, Martha "Sally" Schusler; one brother, Michael "Sonny" Seeger; and several nephews and nieces. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, from 5-7 pm at Forest Hill Funeral Home, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN. Funeral Services will be held at Bellevue Baptist Church, Saturday, October 15 beginning at 10:00 am, with interment to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park East.
