Obituary for Edward Earl Salter

Edward Earl Salter, 82, of Collierville, TN, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, February 11, 2017. He was a retiree of Witco Chemical Corporation in Memphis and a member of Collierville Baptist Church. Mr. Salter was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Dorothy Salter; parents, Ben and Floy Salter; and brother, Bill Salter. Surviving Mr. Salter are daughter, Charlotte (Jack) Halliburton; son, Randy (Jennifer) Salter; grandchildren, Holly (Jeff) King, Benjamin (Olivia) Halliburton, Will Salter, Addie Salter, and Wyatt Salter; great grandchildren, Javan Halliburton, Nolan Halliburton, and Avery King; and brother, David (Charlene) Salter. Visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, with the service following immediately at 10 a.m., both at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East with interment following. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
