David "Deane" Shupp
David Deane Shupp, born August 19. 1924 to Walter A. Shupp and Maud Sauer Shupp in Palo, Iowa. He went to be with his Lord on November 26, 2017, at the age of 93. He was married to the love of his life, Eleanor for over 65 years until her death in 2012. He is also preceded in death by 2 sons Dwaine Shupp and Gary Shupp and a sister Miriam Chynowelth as well as brothers Warren Shupp and his identical twin brother O. Dwaine Shupp.
He is survived by his son Jeffrey M. Shupp and wife Joy, granddaughter Lori P Shupp and a great grandson Derrin Randle, all of Southaven, MS. He also leaves his sister Selma Anderson of Portland, OR and a host of many beloved family and many friends.
He and his twin brother served together in the US Navy as Seabees at the age of 19, they were part of the 1st troop into Japan after the surrender. Deane worked in the retail business many years and over 30 years in the Hardware/Retail business before retiring in 2012.
Deane never met a stranger and would lend a helping hand to any one in need. He lived a full life and loved his family and friends. He was a faithful Christian who has now gone home. He will be dearly missed on this earth.
